Summer Dance Workshop

From June 3 to 23, Skidmore College will offer an intensive workshop for pre-professional and professional dancers in Saratoga Springs, New York. Led by Company teaching artists, members of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and Bill T. Jones and Janet Wong, the program will focus on collaborative methods of creation. In addition to classes in technique and repertory, students will work collaboratively with SITI Company workshop participants in SITI Company’s concurrent Skidmore workshop. A curriculum co-developed by SITI Company and Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company will provide dancers with the skills necessary to create using a cross-disciplinary palette. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy Skidmore’s state-of-the-art facilities and the surrounding Saratoga Springs area while training and performing under the guidance of the Company.
