Application Information

The 2012 Application is Open!

Application to the program must include the following:

• Completed online application
  
• A $40 nonrefundable application fee;
• Audio Recording (Upload up to 2 files) - 5-10 minute recording of 2 selections from either solos or etudes that show both musicality and technique; Recordings will determine placement in ensembles and master classes.
• Letter of Recommendation from a current teacher (pdf preferred) - You will have the option to upload a file on the application or fax a letter to Wendy Kercull at 518-580-5548.

                 OR

• Brief Musical History Essay (pdf preferred)

Please make sure the filename of your attachments have your full name and item description example:  JohnSmithRecording.wav.

Uploads should be in the following format and be no larger than 100MB each

Document:  .DOC; .DOCX; .PDF; .TXT

Audio:  .M4A; .MID; .MP3; .WAV

Application review will begin:  April 21, 2012

Program fees due:  July 1, 2012

International Students

In accordance with U.S. Federal regulations, all non-U.S. Citizens must have a student visa to study in the United States. You may not attend Skidmore on a tourist visa. If you are an international student please click here.
