Survey of Liberal Studies for Mature Learners
Tuesdays and Thursdays
October 4 - November 17, 2011
This series of lectures, now celebrating it's 30th year, is offered by the Skidmore College Faculty and is open to mature students, age 55 and over, from the local region. Faculty members from many disciplines will deliver a lively array of presentations on topics and themes that change weekly during the six-week program.
Participants have the choice to register for either Tuesday or Thursday classes. Three lectures will be offered each day, and all classes will be held in Davis Auditorium in Palamountain Hall. The cost to participants with an annual income of $19,500 or more is $230. Scholarships are available to those with an annual income of less than $19,500. Morning coffee, lunch in the College's Dining Hall, courtesy bus service, and a final reception are also included in the cost of the program.
Registration is limited to 125 participants each day. Registrations will be processed on a first-come/first-serve basis. A final class schedule for 2011 will be available shortly.
If you are on the mailing list registration materials will be mailed late August / early September. If you would like to be included on the mailing list use our
