TAYLOR 2

Taylor Paul Taylor established Taylor 2 in 1993 to ensure that his works could be experienced by audiences and students all over the world. Modeled after the early structure of the Paul Taylor Dance Company, the six-member company performs and teaches Taylor master works unhindered by the economic and technical limitations of a larger company. In 1994, the Company embarked on its first international tour and has since visited African and Baltic nations, India, Mexico, Canada, and major European cities. Taylor 2 has toured 48 states, in addition to participating in 10 long-term residencies sponsored by the New York State Council on the Arts. In 2005, Taylor 2 and the PTDC completed an 18-month tour celebrating the Taylor Company’s 50th anniversary. The company recently completed a tour of Pennsylvania, with performances in 20 cities and towns in four weeks.
