Camp Northwoods

Drawing on the rich and varied resources of the Skidmore College campus, Camp Northwoods offers an exciting program of sports, cultural arts, nature study and relaxed play for children who will be 6 years old at the time camp begins. All campers must be entering grades 1-6 as of September, 2009.

At Camp Northwoods our goal is to provide fun, variety, choice and happy challenges to the imagination, the intellect and the body. Campers take swim lessons and enjoy free swim as well as participate in activities such as arts and crafts, ceramics, games and hiking.

Working with the campers and staff, interns and special guests create a wide range of enrichment activities. Field trips supplement the regular camp program, the majority of which occurs at the Falstaff's Pavilion and the Sports Center.
