Program

The state-of-the art, professional instruction is geared toward developing the full potential of individual players and their teams for the upcoming 2011 high school season. Players will be exposed to intense field hockey team training in a fun, friendly atmosphere. As a bonus, they will have an opportunity to meet and work with players from other teams.

Registration

Teams must register as a group of 10 players or more. A team representative should collect the completed registration forms and payments from her participating teammates and submit paperwork to: Skidmore College, Office of the Dean of Special Programs, Attn. Summer Sports Program, 815 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY  12866.

Equipment

Players will need appropriate playing and protective gear, including a field hockey stick, shin-guards, mouth guard, full water bottle, sneakers or cross trainers and turf shoes.

Skidmore Outdoor Athletic Facility (Skidmore's Williamson Sports Center in the event of inclement weather)

Staff

Beth Hallenbeck has compiled an impressive 152-47 record since taking over the Skidmore field hockey program in 2001. She was named North-Atlantic Coach of the Year in 2010. Her record includes eight NCAA tournament bids including two Final Four appearances and the three Elite Eights, as well as, five Liberty League Championships including the last three years. Camp staff will be comprised of veteran coaches and talented international and collegiate players.

Cost

$150 (includes practice jersey). REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JULY 22, 2011.
