Planned Giving
 The Office of the Dean of Special Programs and The Office of Planned Giving offers service and guidance to alumni and friends of Skidmore College as they begin the gift planning process. Our mission is to help donors experience the fullest possible satisfaction stemming from their philanthropy while building a secure future for Skidmore College and its students. We build on the legacy of College founder Lucy Skidmore Scribner.In the course of performing our mission, we identify opportunities to benefit donors using creative planning techniques, which can add further value to the wonderful feeling of making meaningful and purposeful gifts. Some of these opportunities may include ways to reduce taxes, generate lifetime income, and protect estate interests.
