Skidmore Annual Parents Fund
Skidmore has a strong tradition of philanthropy from parents. Last year, parents made gifts to the Annual Fund totaling $1.6 million to support everything from scholarships to capital projects. Financial contributions through the Annual Parents Fund have allowed the College to enhance the educational experience for all of our students.
What is the Annual Parents Fund?
The Annual Parents Fund provides vital support to Skidmore. Every dollar is put to immediate use to ensure that Skidmore is able to attract a highly qualified and diverse student body, recruit and retain the best faculty, and provide and maintain the best facilities possible for academics, the arts, and athletics.
Your Annual Parents Fund gift supports Skidmore's operating budget for things such as:
- The First Year Experience program (FYE)
- Academic Initiatives
- Faculty Support
- Student Life Programs
- Intercultural and Diversity Initiative
- Campus facilities and classroom enhancements
- The Tang Museum
