Majors


THE PHYSICS MAJOR: Students majoring in physics are required to:

  1. Fulfill the general College requirements.

  2. Complete the following:

    1. a minimum of ten courses in physics including PY207, 208, 210, 341, 345, 346, 348, 373 or 374, and two additional courses from among PY211, 212, 213, 351, 352 or 399.

    2. MA111, 113, 200, 202, and 270.

Students planning to pursue graduate work should also take a two-course sequence in another lab science.
