Summer Faculty/Student Research Program

Since 1989, the Faculty/Student Summer Research Program has brought students and faculty together on collaborative projects not only in the sciences, but also in the arts, humanities and social sciences for ten weeks. These high-level projects often lead to co-authored articles in professional journals and presentations at conferences.

This summer, 43 students participated in these projects—quadruple the number a decade ago. Their projects took them into Skidmore labs and into the field—as near to campus as Kayaderosseras Creek and Lonely Lake and as far away as Colorado.
