CTM Photo, Video contests
Now there are two ways for Skidmore students to illustrate their vision of Creative Thought Matters.
The fifth annual Creative Thought Matters photo contest has a partner this year: the Creative Thought Matters video contest. Both ask students to illustrate their interpretation of Creative Thought Matters.
The CTM photo and video contests will recognize outstanding contributions toward chronicling the meaning of "Creative Thought Matters" within the Skidmore community. Photographs provide a moment-in-time view of campus life and activity, while videos offer a rounded presentation of a larger experience.
If your specialty is video, please consider how to present the campus in a way that will interest potential students. Creative and compelling tours of campus, as well as "day-in-the-life-of-a-Skidmore-student" videos are the two categories. Still photographers are asked to show what "Creative Thought Matters" means to in class, on the athletic field, in work, or play.
This week’s Portfolio showcases photographs that have been submitted thus far. If you’ve been thinking about participating, it is not too late. The deadline for entry is Nov. 17. For more information about contest rules and guidelines, please click here.
