The men's basketball team won its first Liberty League Championship and clinched an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time in the program's 27-year history. The Thoroughbreds set program records for wins (18) and league wins (10). Junior Gerard O'Shea was selected to the Liberty League First Team and senior teammate Jeff Altimar earned second team honors.
Ice hockey finished fourth in the ECAC East, posting a 9-14-3 overall record and an 8-8-3 in the league. The Thoroughbreds hosted Babson in the ECAC quarterfinals. Junior defenseman Nick Dupuis and goalie Colin Bessey each garnered First Team All-ECAC honors for Skidmore.
The women's basketball team finished the season with a 12-12 overall record and 8-6 in Liberty League play, missing out on making the playoffs. Three Thoroughbreds earned All-League honors as Megan Gaugler was named to the second team, junior Christina Gargiso received honorable mention and Michela Ottati was named to the All-Rookie team.
The swimming and diving teams saw another successful season. At the UNYSCSA Championships, Skidmore set 14 new program records. Senior Stephen Lento was a part of six records on the men's side and for the women, sophomore Carrie Koch was a part of three school records during the season.
Riding resumed their season with a pair of wins at home and at Morrisville. Skidmore will host Zone II Regionals and look to defend its 2010 National Championship.
