All Changes reviewed by Committee on Academic Standing

You will handle your own drops on line without signature. Please complete the drops as soon as you know that you will not remain enrolled , since this may open a seat for someone who really wants it. After Sept 21, you may leave a class only by requesting a withdrawal and using the paper Withdrawal Form. Please note that the Committee on Academic Standing (CAS) rarely approves late drop requests.

During the first three days of the semester , you may add open classes on line with no signature. There are a few exceptions, including the Scribner Seminars and sections where the faculty member has made special arrangements with the Registrar's Office. Any first year student seeking to make a change to his/her SSP-100 section must obtain the approval of Beau Breslin, Director of the First Year Experience.

A fair number of sections have waitlists associated with them. As slots become available, students are enrolled automatically from the wait list prior to Monday, Sept 14. If you are on a waitlist, keep checking to see if you have been enrolled. If you no longer wish to be enrolled, please delete the waitlisted course from the pending section of your schedule.

If a section is closed or a pre-requisite override is needed, you must obtain written approval of the instructor. We use the yellow Course Registration Forms for this purpose. Hand in the signed form at the Registrar's Office.

Starting Sept 14, you may only enroll in a section with written approval, using the yellow Course Registration Form. We want students to be settled into their classes by the end of the first week.

Starting Monday Sept 21, any new registration will be reviewed by CAS, and late adds may be denied if the rationale is not deemed appropriate. Please make your enrollment decisions on time and begin your academic work immediately. This is important for getting off to the right start.
