Kimball Hall is one of six south quad areas at Skidmore College.
History
 Kimball Hall was built in the 1960s, and is named after the second trustee of the college, Alfred Kimball.  Kimball, ". . .of West Orange, New Jersey, was a partner in Baylis and Company, the firm that managed Mrs. Scribner's investments."  Alfred Kimball was a frequent lecturer at Skidmore, and joined the trustees in 1913.  He became a key financial advisor to the College during its early years.  Upon his death in 1929, the College said of Kimball, "The college experience and financial wisdom that he brought to the solution of its most critical early problems were of extraordinary aid to the young institution."

    - Outdoor bike racks & basement bike storage (the college assumes no responsibility for missing or damaged bikes)
    - VACATION HALL:  Kimball Hall is a vacation residence hall; residents are allowed to remain in the building during College vacations (with the exception of summer vacation) with approval from the Office of Residential Life.

Rooms are furnished with the following items upon move in:
  • Desk
  • Desk chair
  • Dresser
  • Twin extra long bed
  • Closet (or wardrobe for Triple rooms)
  • Padded window seat
  • Modem box with cable and internet connections (one internet port per student, and one cable and phone port per room)
Room Style
All rooms in Kimball Hall are suite style.  Each suite can contain a different combination of single rooms, double/triple rooms, and a bathroom.
