1968 Class Banner
Dear Classmates,

Hello to all from Saratoga Springs.  This is just a short note to share some news and wish you a happy spring. We are having a true spring for the first time in a while, and we are enjoying it all.  The ever increasing amount of light each day is a source of renewed energy.

Campus News

It is hard to believe that classes end next week, and graduation is only 2 weeks away.  I will look forward to welcoming the class of 2010 as  alums.  It is my last year on the Alumni Board, so one more opportunity to sit on stage.

The Zankel Music Center opened in February.  I have attended several performances – what an amazing venue.  It really is a great resource for students, staff, alums and the community at large.  Just one more great benefit of living here.

Classmates

I had the opportunity to see Ellen Rosen Wolfson and her husband Mike at the Scholars Dinner in April.  We all had the opportunity to hear Josh Redman in concert at the Zankel following dinner.  It was great to spend time with Ellen and Mike and we all thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Our class of ’68 scholar was not able to join us for dinner, but I am hoping to catch up with her on campus shortly.

Class of ’68 Scholar

Our scholar this year is Casey Fish, Class of 2012.  (Click link for full profile.) Casey is a psychology major and studio arts minor from Lake Placid.  Attached is some additional information from Casey, including her thanks to our class for our support.

We have a local alum/friends event coming up in May at the Senior Art Show at the Tang.  Hoping to catch up with some local alums, see  the student’s work and meet Casey there.

As many of you know, we are edging closer to the goal of 10,000 donors for the 1 Million dollar Williamson Challenge- just a few weeks to go.  To meet our class goal for this year we need only 21 classmates to make a contribution , so please join in giving to our annual fund effort- http://cms.skidmore.edu/challenge/.
Thanks to all of you for past and current support- gifts in any amount really do help to make a difference and we appreciate each one.
Thanks again for all of you who volunteer in so many capacities for our class and Skidmore- what would we do without your support?

I hope that some of you may be heading up this way during the next few months, and I hope you will give a call and we can get together.  Have very much enjoyed hearing from some of you about all that is going on in your lives, meetings with others in our class, and look forward to more.  Please share news as well with Dorothy at sscott106@aol.com.

I am also enjoying hearing from some and reading your news on Facebook .  We will soon be launching a Skidmore Connect ability which I think will help us all be in touch even more!  Stay tuned.

My very best to all.
