The day starts with optional tours of campus, the science facilities, or the arts facilities (10–11:15 a.m.). The program officially begins with a welcome barbecue (11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.), followed by an introduction to Skidmore from Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Mary Lou Bates and others (12:30–12:45 p.m.), a student panel (12:45–1:30 p.m.), and an admissions and financial aid information session (1:30–2 p.m.). The afternoon concludes with a walking tour of campus led by student tour guides, or a bus tour of Saratoga Springs (2:15–3:15 p.m.). Many faculty and administrators will attend the BBQ and chat informally with prospective students and their families.

"We encourage alumni, parents, faculty, and friends to spread the word to rising high school seniors who are or may be interested in Skidmore, and to encourage them to attend," said Jane Reisman, associate director of admissions.  Students may view a schedule of the day on Skidmore's Web site, and can register online or by calling Admissions at 800-867-6007 or 518-580-5570.
