Hi everyone,   I didn’t have a clever title for that blog post, sorry.   Anyway, it’s Monday night, I’m getting ready for my AIDS Benefit rehearsal, but I thought I’d drop a quickie post for y’all’s reading pleasure.   Something I like doing to keep myself destressed is making a daily to-do list. I [...]

Biomorphic forms and lush textures highlight the artworks of Ginger Ertz, an educator at Skidmore’s Tang Museum. Like some of the activities she leads for kids, her work uses cheap, old-fashioned, fuzzy-wire pipe cleaners.  But you’d never guess it when you see her results — check this recent news clip, or Ginger’s own site and statement.

Skidmore’s Outing Club could win $10,000 from Polartec (the makers of Polarfleece fabrics), if enough people vote for it at Polartec’s Facebook page.  Once visitors  ”like” the page, they can go to the contest site, see videos of the outdoors clubs that are competing — the other three finalists are Princeton, Northeastern, and Lyon — [...]
