Senior Seminars

Sociology 375/Senior Seminar in Sociology is the required capstone course for sociology majors. In this fall semester research practicum, students draw on their acquired knowledge of sociology to develop and carry out independent research projects. Each year some students present their seminar research in papers at the annual meetings of the Eastern Sociological Society. Some students also use their seminar projects as a basis for a senior thesis carried out in the spring semester.
