General Information and Requirements

Each year Skidmore College participates in a program sponsored by the Northeast Association of Student Employment Administrators to identify and recognize outstanding student workers.

We are looking for students who are especially reliable, do high quality work, and who show creativity and independence in dealing with work situations. A committee of readers will determine one campus winner. That winner will be entered in the state and possibly regional competition. In addition, all Skidmore College nominees will be recognized at a campus reception.

Please complete the Student Employee of the Year Nomination Form. Supporting letters from other department/office staff members may be included. However, if your nominee is selected as the campus winner, only the three page nomination form will be forwarded to the state level; therefore, please be sure this form accurately reflects your reasons for nominating the candidate. All nomination forms must be received via email.

The deadline for nominating a student has passed for the 2007-2008 academic year.
Nomination information for the 2008-2009 academic year will be available in early January.
