Recyclemania 2010!!
Congratulations Northwoods and South Quad!!!
WHY: To increase Skidmore's recycling rate!! Recyclemania is part of a nationwide recycling competition between colleges and universities.
HOW: There were be four recycling containers set up, one for each quad (North and South) and one for each apartment complex (Scribner and Northwoods). At the end of the competition the area that had the most mixed recycling (glass, metal, plastic) per person won. There were two winners North or South and Scribner or Northwoods.

WHAT DO WE WIN?: Bragging rights, of course! In addition, there was a communal party with food and a recyclemania trophy for each winning area.
