What was previously known as the Eco-Rep Program is now called the S-Rep Program to reflect the breadth of issues that fall under sustainability, and the need to look holistically at environment, equity, and economy, rather than any one of those areas independently!

Sustainable Skidmore's student Sustainability-Rep (S-REP) program is designed to increase awareness about sustainability and inspire behavior change through programming and educational initiatives in the residence halls. S-Reps will offer information on sustainability topics, serve as a sounding board for sustainability concerns in the residence halls and offer activities related to sustainability. There are 10 S-Rep positions for each academic year and each S-Rep will be pre-housed in the residence hall where they will be working.
Topics covered in the S-Rep program include: waste reduction and recycling, climate change and energy conservation, food and composting, and more! S-Reps will have training before the start of the academic year and will meet biweekly throughout the semester to learn about selected topics and to discuss and plan activities for the residence halls.
