Craig Poler

Craig PolerCraig Poler has worked as an oil and energy trader for a range of corporations, including Glencore International, Sempra Energy, and the Vitol Group.  He currently structures and trades long-term crude oil and product deals for a global energy firm.  He is a former member of the Chicago Board of Trade, where he specialized in soybean futures, and also served on several committees of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Poler graduated from Skidmore College as a business major in 1984 and earned a certificate of special studies and master's degree in finance from Harvard University.

He was a member of Skidmore's 1982 lacrosse team, which will be recognized as a team of distinction at this year's Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony, and went on to captain the team in his senior season.  His grandmother was a member of the Class of 1932 and his great aunt the Class of 1933.
